I learned something important this Christmas. It’s this: Christmastime is a horrible time to have book giveaways. People are so busy getting ready for relatives, shopping for gifts, going to church, traveling, etc. that they aren’t reading blogs and entering giveaways. Because of this new revelation, I will be doing two things:
1. Take a blogging break from December 15-January 2 from now on, and
2. I’m going to extend the book giveaways that I planned for the last 2 weeks of December.
So, without further ado, if you haven’t entered and you’re still interested, here they are:
Over at The Scriblerians, you have the chance to win a fantastic tween book by Mary L. Hamilton called Hear No Evil. Gift a teen with this great story, or better yet, read it as a family and take some time to discuss real life issues. It’s a good read for any age.
You have three chances to win Linda Kozar’s “Until the Fat Ladies Sing” mysteries. These books are so fun, I know you’ll love them.
Back at The Scriblerians, you have the chance to win Necessary Evil, a short story by the co-founder of The Scriblerians, TJ Akers. His story is part of Mike Lynch’s No Revolution Is Too Big series.
New: If you hurry, you have a chance to enter to win Jill Williamson’s newest book, Outcasts (#2 in the Safe Lands series).
Tomorrow (1/6) at this blog, you’ll have the chance to win a fantastic Viking story called God’s Daughter by Heather Day Gilbert. Who doesn’t love Vikings? Great for both historical and adventure readers. A real look at how Vikings lived and what they believed.
Next Monday (1/13), you’ll have the chance to win S.R. Karfelt’s Warrior of the Ages. This is part suspense/thriller, part romance and a fun new story world.
All you have to do to win, besides enter, is to be a blog follower and/or FB follower. So if you’re not a follower yet, what are you waiting for? Click on the link, head to the blog post, and enter for some great stories—free!
Winners for all giveaways (except Jill Williamson’s Outcast) will be announced on January 17. Good luck!
